Tru Treasury is are seeking a highly driven Product Owner to lead the evolution of our Treasury Management product suite.

This role will own product planning, roadmap execution, requirements definition, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, implementation, operations, and client-facing teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep Treasury Management domain expertise, strong UX and workflow intuition, and the ability to translate complex client and operational needs into scalable product capabilities.

This role is highly collaborative and hands-on, requiring close partnership with development teams to drive prioritization, backlog management, and delivery execution while also serving as a trusted resource for clients and internal stakeholders.

You Will Take Ownership Of:

  • Owning and driving the Tru Treasury product roadmap
  • Defining and prioritizing product initiatives aligned with business objectives, client needs, and market opportunities
  • Partnering closely with engineering teams by:
    • Defining requirements
    • Creating user stories
    • Developing acceptance criteria
    • Grooming and managing the product backlog
    • Participating in sprint planning
    • Prioritizing features and enhancements
  • Making intentional, user-centered decisions regarding product design and user experience (UX) to improve workflows, usability, and client satisfaction
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for Treasury Management products, services, and operational processes
  • Collaborating with implementation, support, and operations teams to ensure scalable, supportable, and successful product delivery
  • Participating in client meetings as a product and Treasury Management resource, providing expertise and gathering valuable insights
  • Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing feedback from clients, operations, support teams, and internal stakeholders to inform product strategy
  • Driving product decisions through business impact analysis, client outcomes, operational efficiency, and data-driven insights
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements, product innovation, and operational enhancements across the Treasury Management platform
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to support successful product execution and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Must Have:

  1. Deep experience in Treasury Management products and workflows
  2. Strong understanding of commercial banking and payments ecosystems
  3. Experience working directly with software development teams in Agile environments
  4. Proven ability to manage product backlogs and prioritize competing initiatives
  5. Strong UX and workflow design sensibilities
  6. Ability to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements
  7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  8. Experience interacting directly with clients and cross-functional operational teams
  9. Familiarity with payments, wires, ACH, RTP, ISO 20022, entitlements, fraud controls, or digital banking platforms preferred

Preferred Experience:

  1. Treasury Management platform experience
  2. Commercial banking technology experience
  3. Experience with fintech or banking SaaS products
  4. Experience with API-enabled financial products and payment modernization initiative
